About Me

I have been an avid PDA user since 1999 when I purchased my Palm V. I used it originally to keep my contacts/calendar up to date, sync with my work emails and play games. I quickly found it to be limiting as what I could do, so I took the dive into the PocketPC world and bought a Compaq iPAQ 3765. All of the sudden, I was really hooked on Windows Mobile devices. The rest as they say is history. I just kept upgrading every couple years or less!

I currently work for one of the national health insurers as a Business Development Manager, working with our sales teams to drive new business. On the side, I am an amateur photographer and also a moderator and contributing editor on www.pocketnow.com as well as a moderator on this site.

Listed below is a listing of all the PDA/Smartphones I own. Also listed are software and hardware I own and use currently on my AT&T Tilt. Also, where available, I have provided links to almost everything on my list so it's easy for you to find. Please come back as I update my profile often.

My PDA History (In order from Most Current to First Purchased)

10) RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 (Work device. Unfortunately, my company doesn't support WM)
9) Samsung BlackJack II (Current PDA/Phone)
8) AT&T Tilt, aka HTC Kaiser (Current PDA/Phone)
7) AT&T 8525, aka HTC Hermes
6) Verizon Wireless XV6600, aka HTC Harrier
5) Dell Axim X30i
4) Sony Clie PEG-SJ20
3) HP iPAQ 2215, aka HTC Great Wall
2) Compaq iPAQ 3765
1) 3COM Palm V

Hi Rainman,

I installed "HTC 10 button Comm manager " from your profile page and initially it said as "successfully intalled" then after restart when I checked Comm Manager was swiped off entirely and only a blank (black checked boxes) is visible.

I checked under "Add/Remove programs, but I couldnt find it to un-install it... It's a big problem for me without Comm Manager, Please help ASAP...

Please email me back at sd.madhi@gmail.com

Thanks,
Madhi

Hi

I downloaded this ands installed it and it looked and wrked great.

But now for some reason it has vanished, as a skin from my mobile. Even when I try and re-install it, it doesnt appear yet it always says that it has installed......

Any suggestions?

Also a quick dumb question as a non-tech person, when insralling these programs and saving them, wheresshould they be done?

I always just save to my SD card, then unzip tio the storage card and runn from there...

Thanks
