I had the Samsung Charge and it kept breaking so I was able to switch to HTC Rezound and I need help with this email issue!
I am trying to delete my aol email account on the mail app and under accounts sync but it will not let me. It tells me I have to reset to factory settings because "This account is required by some apps. you can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults (which deletes all of your personal data)." I dont know what other apps use the AOL mail account but I want to get rid of it because it doesn't snyc my mail. I miss having a samsung because their email app that came with phone is so much better and easier to use. I have 2 other email accounts, Gmail & Yahoo so I had to download their email apps. I would like to just have one app which came with phone but its a pain to try to figure out how to make them all sync correctly. HTC told me to delete aol and redo it as a pop account but in order to do that I have to delete aol which it wont let me with out doing a factory reset. Hopeing the new software thats supposed to be out soon fixes their email issues. If anyone knows how to fix and get the mail app that came with phone to work correctly please help me! or how to delete the aol account without having to do a factory reset that would be great too. Thanks! |
