i have a new htc tp2 from uscellular ..I was experiencing the same exact issue the guy in service said was a software glitch he sent me a patch i downloaded it and walaa fixed.. give that a try

Touch Pro 2 - What's going on with my phone?
Hello. My first HTC Touch Pro 2 worked perfect until I unplugged it from the charger one morning and the charging light stayed on and the phone did not work at all. Later during the day, it worked, but not the touch screen. When the touch screen finally started working the next day, the interfacing of the phone was messed up. There was not a start page with the buttons to press, but a drop down start menu. Contacts & other information was deleted. It was also working very slow. The phone kept telling me that there was an error.
I took my phone to the Sprint store (where I bought it) and they could not find out what was wrong with my phone. They replaced the phone, free of charge, and was able to transfer my contacts to the new phone.
It has only been 2 months since I received my newer HTC Touch Pro 2 and it has the SAME problems. I restarted my phone and that didn't do anything and I have not downloaded anything to my phone.
What is wrong with my phone? I would hate to get a third phone and encounter the same problems again.

No Problems NOW!
I have had no problems with my TP 2, infact it's what you make of it! All windows based OS need to be customized to be right. I installed SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 and now I can slide my screen to the side with 5 different pages, what ever widget I want on any page, My phone is easier than the Iphone I messed with. This phone is all me now, what I want with apps where I want them, thanks to customizing I made it that way.

Text Msg Notification on HTC Sense Home page.
I am showing that I have 1 inbox msg on the text notification bubble. Am I able to clear this somehow with out reseting the phone back to its original settings. (the little green bubble shows 1 msg all the time)
There is a Sprint fix, but will this fix the US Cellular supported phone??

How to change 'Camera' button on Touch Flo3D Home Screen
I hope I'm not the only one experiencing this annoyance, but has anyone located the setting or method on changing the 'Camera' button on the home screen? I'd really like to change it to something else.
I accidentally tap that button ALL THE TIME (at least 3-5 times daily) and it is really getting on my nerves. Plus, there's already a camera/recorder tab we use to activate the camera.
Can someone help? This is getting really really annoying....

Duplicate emails being sent
So I have my gmail account setup with the phone's email program, but whenever I send an email from my phone... it ends up sending two of the same message to the recipient. I know this because I check my gmail sent items from my computer afterwards, and I see that my phone has sent the same message twice. It does this every time. Does anyone else have this issue and know of a fix?

HTC Touch PRO won't sync or send text messages
I've had my phone since August 2009.
2 weeks ago, my text messages just stopped working out of no where. When I try to send text messages, it says "Your text message cannot be sent."
Also, when I try to connect my Touch Pro with the computer, it does not detect it. I've tried everything, but no help/solution at all.
Please help ASAP.

Can anyone tell me Can i upgrade 8525 Wm 6.0 to 6.1 or 6.5. I checked with HTC customer care. they told me 8525 can work only till WM 6.0 .
is it true. if not please tell me till what upgrade can i do and also if you can give me the site for downloading the WM OS

Sennheiser VMX 100 and HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) not pairing
Hi,
I've just bought the Sennheiser VMX 100 Handsfree, but I ran into some trouble while trying to pair it.
Apparently, the problem is not new in any way, as I found over at XDA Dev;

I didn't fully understand/succed with the method described there....Is it any other way I can get my VMX and Touch Pro to talk together, or should I simply return it and get another one?
(I tried the HTC BTM 200 before the Sennheiser. It broke in 3 days with very little use...)

I am going to purchase an unlocked HTC Diamond from someone who had it in French, he says that he tried changing it back to English but was unable to because he was not too good on the computer to do it. Is it hard to change the language from French to English on the Diamond?

HTC Pro Touch screen is upside down in games... Why?
Hello.
I have this problem.
When I use my Pocket PC (HTC Touch Pro) normally it's all alright, but when I want to play a game (for example Warcraft 2 or COD2) and I pull out my keyboard, the screen goes 180* wrong way. It's like when I want to use keyboard, I see everything from wrong direction (up).What is more, I cannot use touch screen then either, because when I slide up it goes right, when slide left goes down ect. When keyboard is hidden, everything seems to be fine, but I need my keys to controle... :(
Can anyone please help me with this? How do I change that, so I can play with my keyboard and screen rotated correctly?

How do you Manage text folder options for the HTC PRO?
HTC actually recommended this site after I called and complained about the issue. Before I got the HTC PRO, I had the HTC touch. The one thing I hated about the touch was that I wasnt allowed to create distribution lists for text messages, however, I could go to tools and click manage folders. Once I was in the manage folder option, I could create my own folder and store text that I sent to any particular group in a designated folder. As such, when ever I needed to sent out a text to a particular group, all I had to do was click on the folder, highlight a previously sent email (containing all the names I needed) and click reply to all. This feature is not available in the HTC pro. The manage folder option is there but (greyed out) I cant click on it. Does anyone know how to get around this? Thanks and sorry for it being so winded.

Moved windows folder on HTC diamond
Hello i accidently cut then paste my windows folder onto my internal storage on my Diamond. Now i cant unlock my phone is there anything i can do to unlock my phone without a hard rest or can i move the windows folder back to its original place using windows explorer on my vista based pc? thanks!

HTC Touch Pro (Sprint) Picture Mail problems
Does anyone have any solutions for how horribly slow picture mail is on Sprint's HTC Touch Pro? It often hangs, and does not seem to work in the background. It is most frustrating that it won't send pictures in the background, because sending photos is so terribly slow. Does anyone know of any solutions? I can download/upload picture files a billion times faster than picture mail can send them.

GPS on HTC Touch Pro with no 3rd party software.
How to activate the gps on the touch pro.... 1st Turn on the 911 location .... start>settings>phone >services>location setting>get settings> (select) on then hit ok in the top right corner
2nd Set your gps manually to com4 and baud rate to 4800 then run quick gps (1st time do it with a clear view of the sky but i am in a house and its working fine) i did this using google maps>menu>gps settings> ... dont forget to check the "Use GPS" on the options menu

HTC Touch Pro T7272 speaker problems.
hi! i just had my HTC Touch Pro for a week, but the speaker (back) is making weird cracking sounds and the battery is required to be pushed down in order for the speaker to work.
If i plug in the headphone (supplied by HTC), it works normally. Does anyone has the same prob??
