Lost "Today" "page" , "messaging", app and no texting
Major Problem!!! I sync with my vista based PC. In Mexico at the time. I can no longer see a TODAY screen and when I try the Messaging icon on the windows START "list", nothing happens. A friend sent a text message with no error reported back to him. I have tried setting everything over again with the settings>today screen. Also, hard boot> turn off> remove battery> restart after 10-15 sec? Corrupted? HELP!!!

Annoying Alert with Text Messages
I just recently switched from palm treo pro to HTC TP2...LOVE everything about this upgrade, accept I always get an annoying alert after sending a text message, that dims my screen and forces me to wait or click OK...I tried to shut if off in notifications, have done all of the updates, and reset the phone..is this forced to stay, or is there a fix?

HTC Hero Does not Proviode Text Msg Time/Date Stamp
How can I get a more detailed date stamp for text messages received on the Hero, beyond the current day? It appears to provide the time stamp for the current day's text exchanges but not for any previous days exchanges...for any previous days exchanges, it only provides something like "Yesterday" or "Monday" or "Dec 7", with no time stamp. I'd like to know WHEN a text was received on a particular day, past the current day. Know of any SW updates to fix this or anything?......Thanks.

HTC Touch PRO won't sync or send text messages
I've had my phone since August 2009.
2 weeks ago, my text messages just stopped working out of no where. When I try to send text messages, it says "Your text message cannot be sent."
Also, when I try to connect my Touch Pro with the computer, it does not detect it. I've tried everything, but no help/solution at all.
Please help ASAP.

Sending AT command via Bluetooth
Hi all,
I am designing a C# code that will retrieve / add / edit contact from my HTC S710 to my PC. I am using the serial port library, the problem is that I can find a serial port for outgoing connection, I only have one for incoming connection.
Moreover, I only have Active Sync as available service; I don't see Dial up Networking. I don't know how to access Active Sync
On my Nokia I have no problem to see the 2 ports.
What should I do to solve my problem?

Third party auto correct
really REALLY seeking a quality third party auto correct for the HTC Touch Pro 2. i tried one and it didn't work. i'm coming from a blackberry where it worked great replacing bad words and completing phrases (per my input) but for the TP 2... nothing yet. I'm not interested in the HTC stored correcting feature - but looking for a third party one for emails, texting, etc. also would like to find a nice task manager for projects. Upvise seems a bit involved. THANKS!

Incorrect unread message count
I noticed the other day that my Touch Pro2 showed that I had a text message when I didn't. I tried deleting all my messages, restarting the phone, etc. only to find out that there is a fix for it. HTC s621 HELP!!!!
So on my s621 when i text everything works except the keys with numbers on them. Instead of coming out at the letter on the key, it comes out as if it wasa regular phone. For example. the 2-button/ W doesn't type a w but an a, b, c, or 2. How do i get rid of this?????

htc fuze update
hey there everyone, well my phone messed up so i sent it back in and got a replacement with the new update, theres some parts i like to the new update like sliding to accept a call and stuff like that but what i dont like is when you receive a message notification and press reply it highlights the message and is not in the typing screen ready to type a message like before. also my phone is off and in the black timed out screen when i receive a text message my phone lights up and sometimes when in my pocket and not heard it accidently pushes things by itself so when i take it out my clock is messed up or something because the touch screen hit my leg or something as before it would just stay blacked out till i hit the top botton to light up the screen and see my message. i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix these problems on a otherwise pretty decent update of the rom, i dont want to go back to the previous one but if theres any way i could stop my phone from lighting up every time i receive a text or would be able to have my cursor in the texting box instead of highlighting the actual message when i push reply if you could let me know i would appreciate it fellow fuzers

Help With Touch Pro 2 Text Ringtones Please
Hi guys. I've tried all the tricks that are associated and published for getting ringtones to show up in the text message sounds list. Nothing has worked. I've copied the file to mydocuments, myringtones, sounds, mymusic, and anywhere I thought iti may work, and it hasn't. I really don't want those silly sounds, so does somebody have anything new that applies to the Touch Pro 2 getting custom ringtones for text? Because I'm not sure the Touch Pro steps work for this one. HELP PLEASE.

Home screen and ringer control
How can I eliminate or change the annoying upper and lower home screen BARS?
( the upper bar which displays the icons, and lower bar which displays Start. and Contacts )
And if I can't get rid of them altogether, can I change the COLOR of them from Boring Blue, Go-Away Guava or Gag Me Green? I've been creating some of my own wallpapers (madbeetle.com) and would also like to change the color of the home screen TEXT. White doesn't always work.
Lastly, is there a way to extend the time my phone rings? I miss almost every call that comes in. Thanks
