HTC Touch Pro wet in rain
Hi, My HTC Touch Pro wet in rain. I Dries it with dry cotton & put it in the fan air . Then Put it under Table lamp to make it dry internally. Then I Put the Battery in the Phone & started it. Phone Booted but there is no display. Charging is also not working. Any body can help me, what to do?

GSM on HTC Touch Pro and Video call capability
The above specs for this phone show the following for its frequency bands and radio protocols:
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 2100 / 900
HSDPA 850 / 1900 - American version
I thought all Sprint phones operated (in the US) on frequencies using the CDMA protocal and for 3G EVO only. Sprint has some world phones which use both CDMA here in the US and have a SIM card slot for GSM use internationally. Has the Touch Pro been set up to use GSM w/o a visible SIM card here in the US or is the freq info above a typo left over from specs for this phone for another, GSM carrier, like AT&T?
The above specs also state there is a secondary VGA video call camera but I do not see this anywhere on the phone or in the program list or phone settings. Does this capabiltiy exist for the Touch Pro or is it "vaporware"?

Bluetooth connection with windows mobile device center for windows 7
I have recently upgraded my windows vista to Windows 7 and have installed windows mobile device center successfully and working fine with USB cable. Windows 7 is not able to recognize the Htc touch pro smart and its just shows mobile phone, and thats why I am not able to connect to computer for sync. purpose. does anyone knows the problem or solution??

verizon touch pro
currenty i have a problem with my phone, i only bought it because it was a computer. i never even used the phone feature. any way, i updated the rom from verizon and 15 minutes after, the screen went black.... it connects via activesync still but thats all i can do besides insert in and remove files htc cant help me they made it perfectly clear, he had me hard reset and it did but still a black screen. please someone help verizon wont help me because im not using their services anymore . like i said its a computer i just connect wirelessly when im working because i set it up as a mobile hub. i own a mobile detailing business so im conducting business on it all day long. its basically the brains of my business, i do all my banking, shopping, shipping everything on it. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any replies can be sent either here or to freshwhips@yahoo.com... thank you

HTC TOUCH PRO for Sprint Wont work.
Okay I'm trying to call people and send text messages on my phone, but it wont call anyone. It says i have full signal but still wont call anyone. And after a 3 minutes of saying "dialing" its says to check the number again. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I cant change my QWERTY input!
When I try to change my QWERTY input from compact to full while the phone is closed, the setting is still set to COMPACT (it doesn't work with any of the other inputs I try to change it to either, not just full). Is there anyway I can change this?

I just bought a Touch Pro and I cannot get the Touch Flo Home Screen
Hi there I just bought a Touch Pro and when I turn it on it has a message on screen 'smart mobility test only not for sale ' then it proceeds to the Windown Mobile ver 6.1 screen adn then to the standar windows screen with Day and Time, Getting Started, Owner Details, Messages, Tasks, Appointments and Live Search. I have done a reset but still dont get any Touch Flo Home Screen at all.
Can anyone assist me here?

HTC Touch Pro Sync Issues - Help!?
Installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Then installed Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1. Sync'd my HTC Touch Pro (Sprint) and saved all my contacts, email, files, etc with no issues. I then updated my phone to the latest ROM 2.01.651.6. During the setup process using WMDC I was able to check or sync the mobile favorites and files ONLY. Then reverted back by installing an older ROM version and even did a few Hard Resets. No matter what ROM version I use now, I can only sync the favorites and files (nothing else). Why can't I choose the sync contacts and mail options?

I just got my HTC TP replaced (keyboard issues), and now I need to transfer my contacts over. What's the easiest/most thorough way to do that? I have ActiveSync hooked up, but when I look in Outlook for my contacts, there's nothing there!

entrei em contato com a assistencia da htc aqui no brasil e eles não conseguem resolver meu problema..

Screen/Call Lock
Ok, so I know how to lock the phone like this:
Start>Settings>Personal Tab>Lock
I have it set so that it requires a password. However, I just did that exact combo, then pressed "Unlock". It unlocked without the password. That's not really the point here, though. The point is... is there an easier way to lock my phone, and perhaps in a more secure way?
