How to delete AOL off mail app.
I had the Samsung Charge and it kept breaking so I was able to switch to HTC Rezound and I need help with this email issue!
I am trying to delete my aol email account on the mail app and under accounts sync but it will not let me. It tells me I have to reset to factory settings because "This account is required by some apps. you can only remove it by resetting the phone to factory defaults (which deletes all of your personal data)."
I dont know what other apps use the AOL mail account but I want to get rid of it because it doesn't snyc my mail. I miss having a samsung because their email app that came with phone is so much better and easier to use.
I have 2 other email accounts, Gmail & Yahoo so I had to download their email apps. I would like to just have one app which came with phone but its a pain to try to figure out how to make them all sync correctly. HTC told me to delete aol and redo it as a pop account but in order to do that I have to delete aol which it wont let me with out doing a factory reset.
Hopeing the new software thats supposed to be out soon fixes their email issues.
If anyone knows how to fix and get the mail app that came with phone to work correctly please help me! or how to delete the aol account without having to do a factory reset that would be great too. Thanks!

Verizon touchpro display
My display no longer is working. I can still send and receive calls, the former by using the voice dial feature, and can sync, so I am quite sure all the info is still there, but I cannot see it. I have ordered a new battery, which has not arrived, but am concerned that it may be more than that. Any suggestions?

sd memory card from droid to HTCP2? help...........
ok, so i just got the new htc pro touch 2 from verizon, i previously had the droid. i was informed that i can use the sd card from my droid on to the new phone. i exported my contacts onto the card, and when i insert the card in the HTCP2 it doesnt read it, and how can i get to the storage of the sd card from the menus?

Putting battery indicator "on top"
Is there a way to put the indicator for the battery charge in an easily viewable place on the HTC TP2? Currently, I drill down -- first to settings, then to All Settings then to System [settings] then to Power. Is there a way to skip some of these steps?

How can I set my TP2 to take a specific action on (Restricted) calls ?
I can't seem to apply a specific ringtone to a (Restricted) call. Or even better, not hav the phone ring and just send directly to voicemail. Appears the other carriers (T-Mobile and Spring) can do this via their networks and Verizon can't (they even say so on the WEB set).

windows 6.5
Has anyone really tried the new 6.5 that just came out? I tried to load it on my verizon touch pro 2 and with no luck? I got the download from PCB...downloaded it on my laptop but couldn't start the update to the phone, I am sure its me. Called verizon they said it is not posted on there site and dont reconize the the update??

Please, please, provide upgrade to WinMoPro 6.5
I disabled TouchFlo 3D for performance and usage reasons, I am a business user and 6.5 has to be a little easier to use. The home page improvement alone would be worth it. Why should I have to pay $30 for SPB Mobile Shell? Is there a way to just get the 6.5 upgrade. Is there a free shell out there. I just laid out $200 on this thing. HTC, please provide the upgrade, soon!

How to set the "My Favorite" button.
I read the "Getting Started" about how to set the "My Button" (start->settings->My button). I end up at a WinMO6.1 screen I think, but its got 7 items (Send key, button, button, button, button, button, Favorite) in there and I get a complaint that says
"Each program button must have a unique button assignment. Please select a different button assignment".
I have not idea which "buttons" those are. The phone itself does have 7 buttons but I'm not sure if that's what is being referred to. How can I set the green star button to launch my custom app?

Verizon support for TP2
None of the Verizon stores around here (Portland, OR) have the TP2 on display or in stock. I'm a long-time Verizon customer, happy with their service, and interested in getting the TP2, but I'm worried that if there are problems with this device I'll get no support. Verizon customers, what's your experience?
Oh, and I understand Verizon changes the phone some; what do you lose or gain?

Permanent Mute
Sometimes my phone seems to go into permanent mute mode even though the mute indicator is off. Anyone see this? Know how to fix it? I can only recover be removing the battery.

I am having trouble setting the hardware com port for an external gps. After I pair the gps and set the com port, I try to set the external gps, i try to set the com port to match the paired gps, but the com port setting will not stay set. When i close the external gps applicatio and come back in, the gps hardware port has gone back to none

Bluetooth Droid Eris
I am trying to connect my Droid (HTC) to my friends Droid (Motorola) and keep getting the same error. I understand that there is an issue, but when will this be corrected and has anyone found a program that actually works. I am attempting to use Bluetooth Transfer 2.0 from the market.

Saving files directly in Storage card
Hi, i can't seem to work around this one.
I have a fairly large "My Documents" folder in my PC, nothing my 8Gb storage card can't hold, but when i do a synchronization the content of the "My Documents" folder always ends up in the main phone memory, which is a problem, because it's fairly larger then the memory available.
Is there any way that i can make activesync, sync those files directly into the storage card ?
