is the tytn II keypad and key membrance compatible with the wing keypad. the dimensions and layout appear almost identical?

Hi,
I have changed my HTC touch dial pad to ifone style.
Now iam unable to set my original dial pad (in HTC) to dial any numbers.
Some one please help me.

Alltel PPC 6800: Ringer ID and Text Messages
Hello,
I have the alltel version of the ppc 6800 and I wanted to know how to use the ringer id with text messages. If this is possible could someone tell me how to set it up so that the ringer id I have set for someone will play when they call or text me

HTC TYTN II Problems
Hi, I have the following issues with my HTC TyTN II
1. the battery doesn't stand for 3 hours, and the phone gets very hot after charge or if its used for more then 15 minutes contentiously
2. The backlight goes off when iam in a call and i have to press the power button to activate the lights again.
3. I have installed another language font, but the font is being used in many other programs for example the comm. Manager screen changes to that language, i cannot see any other language in my word documents. I had a imate jam before I never had these problems, what can i do to clear all these?

Two Questions about my AT&T 8525
If someone here can help me through these two boring problems;
I used to have WM5, everything working fine but since I upgraded to WM6 I always get two problems
1) I can't connect to Internet via PC USB ActiveSync 4.5, all the setting in PC side was done correctly, but I can' t get connection, Do I need to do something in PPC side? the error is that there is not connection when I try access to the web site; WI-Fi is ok; but I need use USB cable;
2) I can't use Bluetooth, I have bought two Bluetooth USB adaptor, as it I can identify the device, but it keeps giving me partnesship problem, and file transfer, sync, most the functionalities don't exist when I tried to access from the PC;
I saw the posts here, but it seems that none have final answer and all the suggestions from here I tried with no luck, I spent all the week tried to figure it out, but at the end I returned to the start point again;
I appreciate your help very much, I need to have this done very soon.

lagging responsiveness on the touch screen
I purchased the At&t tilt to combine my phone and pda on one device. There alot of handy functions on this smart phone but I find that the reponsiveness of this tilt lags and it processes touch commands slowly. I like the fact that I am able to jot notes and sketch but the touch screen has a delayed response to hand written gestures of which I had not with the hp ipaq pda which also runs on the same OS. Is this common with all tilt phones?

Can I used more than 2 GB micro SD for HTC 8525?
I am currently using 2GB micro sd for my 8525. I just upraded from windows 5 to windows 6 with ROM version of 3.62 and radio version of 1.54. Is it possible to used up to 32 GB just like the at&t tilt? Or at least more than 2 GB. Can anyone respond to this? Thanks.

Pairing with Shadow
I just bought a T-mobile Shadow just a few days ago and I also just bought a plantronic 520 bluetooth. For some reason it is not pairing with the shadow. I've done all sorts of stuff to try to get it to work. Can anyone help me?

Activesync 4.5 compatibility with MDA
General Question-
Does anyone know if MDA or any Windows Mobile 5 devices work with Activesync 4.5, or is that just going to work for WM6. I have read some things where there is problems with the 4.5 reading the WM5 devices or causing glitches.
If anyone has experienced this or know of the correct answer...please let me know.

HTC X7500
My wife purchased an HTC X 7500 while we were vacationing in France last fall.
Of course it is programmed in French and I was unable to change the language to English. Called HTC and rep said there is third party software to do this however HTC does not support this. Does anyone know of such software? Help!

Screen switches off after start of phone call O2Stellar/TytnII/Kaiser
Every time I make a phone call, within a very short time the screen switches off.When the call ends I must power on the screen again to End the call, If I just allow to finish the call continues in background. I have extended the Backlight time on to 5 mins same forpower option on battery.Help!

Registering HTC handset with HTC america
Every time i try to register my handset for there e care. it says im not entering a valid HTC serial number.
I have a Telus HTC S640 what gives? Telus sent me here for support and updates and i cant even register the handset.

Gmail Synchronizating Error
I get an error when trying to synchronize my gmail , I set it up yesterday and somehow it seems to work for awhile and I managed to get my emails, but after that I could not seem to send anything out as well as receive anything.
It gives me a "Cannot connect with current connection settings." However when I checked my settings it seems exactly the same as the one on AT&T website

S640 - How to turn off all data
I'm going to the US for a week and at $8/MB I want to ensure that I can use the Wi-Fi and the phone functions, but I want to ensure that I don't incur any data charges. I know I can turn off my ActiveSync schedule and Telus Direct Email, but last night I was in the US for a few hours and I turned off the Data Connection from the Comm Manager and it still showed it was exchanging data on the screen. What can I do?

Services function for S_710
have been reading through the threads trying to get bluetooth connected to activesync as i am having a terrible problem getting this fixed. One of the instruction was to keep pressing the refresh key on the services option so i can get the active sync box. All I have is the wireless stereo box and must have pressed refresh 20 times. Now what am i doing wrong?
