HTC TYTN II Problems
May 5 2008, 12:45 PM EDT
Hi, I have the following issues with my HTC TyTN II1. the battery doesn't stand for 3 hours, and the phone gets very hot after charge or if its used for more then 15 minutes contentiously 2. The backlight goes off when iam in a call and i have to press the power button to activate the lights again. 3. I have installed another language font, but the font is being used in many other programs for example the comm. Manager screen changes to that language, i cannot see any other language in my word documents. I had a imate jam before I never had these problems, what can i do to clear all these? "Hi, I have the following issues with my HTC TyTN II1. Try soft resetting your device. It shouldn't get that hot. I leave my AT&T Tilt plugged in all day at the office and don't have that problem. 2. Install the KaiserTweaks application. I have linked to it on the AT&T Tilt Wiki page here. It will solve that problem. 3. I unfortunately have not dealt with language fonts, so I can't help you there. Sorry. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Did you actually load a language font onto Word for documents or did you change the language in regional settings? Finally, I just tried the link and it took me right to the download site to download Kaiser tweaks in a .zip file. Perhaps try again. Do you find this valuable? |

In my experience, with most mobile phones, charging while the device is in use can cause problems, overheating being the least of them. I have heard of everything from mild electric shock to electrical fires to due shorts. Most user manuals advise against charging the device while it is in use. You said the device doesn't get hot when it is charging alone... Does it overheat when you are using it without charging it? 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
