Touch Pro 2 - What's going on with my phone?

Hello. My first HTC Touch Pro 2 worked perfect until I unplugged it from the charger one morning and the charging light stayed on and the phone did not work at all. Later during the day, it worked, but not the touch screen. When the touch screen finally started working the next day, the interfacing of the phone was messed up. There was not a start page with the buttons to press, but a drop down start menu. Contacts & other information was deleted. It was also working very slow. The phone kept telling me that there was an error.I took my phone to the Sprint store (where I bought it) and they could not find out what was wrong with my phone. They replaced the phone, free of charge, and was able to transfer my contacts to the new phone. It has only been 2 months since I received my newer HTC Touch Pro 2 and it has the SAME problems. I restarted my phone and that didn't do anything and I have not downloaded anything to my phone. What is wrong with my phone? I would hate to get a third phone and encounter the same problems again. Did you use the same charger with the replacement device that you used with the problem device? Look for the constant factor as that is the likley cause.
