Many Microsoft Mobile users have asked how to transfer their contacts along with contact photos to their desktop computer. They need to backup their contacts somewhere in case of data loss, especially for those who have so many important clients’ contacts on their mobile phone. They just need a way to backup their contacts. What shall they do?Here I'd like to share my experience:I installed this Microsoft Mobile Contact to PC Transfer program called GodswMobile Contact Transfer in my mobile phone and transfer all my contacts from my phone to my computer, or just backup them on my phone. What can it help you?- Transfer contacts from windows mobile to pc; - Transfer both SIM card contacts, Outlook contacts and mobile contacts; - Restore contacts to another Windows Mobile; - An application enclosed for Windows computer to view, add, delete, modify and print contacts; - Save and restore contacts in case of phone crash or lost; - Backup contacts as TXT file and CTS file; - Backup contacts long with contact photos and ringtones. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to transfer SMS to pc: SoftwareBBS-SMS Transfer Know more: google "Softwarebbs-GodswMobile Contact Transfer" 3 out of 3 found this valuable. I've been using Microsoft outlook for years. It works perfectly and is supported via Microsoft. IF I lose my pc I just get another, load the Outlook I already have onto it and sync with Windows mobile device center(WMDC--Vista or Windows 7) software or Activesync (XP and older). If I lose the PDA or smartphone I buy another and just sync it with the pc. Very simple and it works flawlessly. My wife has a medical practice and has over 15,000 appointments and more than 1400 contacts. In the last 8 years she has gone through 3 PDA's and 1 HTC smartphone and updated her computers 3 times all with no loss of information.

I have Outlook and ActiveSync on two of my WinXP PCs, and ActiveSync on my HTC Touch2. I use bluetooth to sync the contacts and calendar lists on my HTC with Outlook on my office PC and home PC. Works for me. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

These people have been posting "questions" about backing up contacts to a PC, then "answers" that try to sell their software. This is a breach of Wiki rules, but they have gotten away with it so far. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It's obvious Sgarrela doesn't run a business. If he or she did they would know the value of a stable platform for managing and controlling their information.

"I happen to run two businesses, and have a full understanding and appreciation for the value of a stable platform for managing and controllng information. I also have a good understanding of Outlook and find it a quite satisfactory platform for storing and protecting Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes from my Windows Mobile devices. I also backup all my data to my SD card on a regular basis. These capabilities are built into the Windows Mobile OS. There is certainly no reason to buy third party software to accomplish these tasks. I have over 12,000 calendar entries and 1,500 contacts and have never lost a bit of data. Everything is backed up with Outlook and Sprite Backup to my SD Card. I don't want inexperienced users to think they need to buy GodswMobile software to backup their contacts - they don't need it. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

How do you know that these are the same users trying to sell software. I was about to answer the same way. I have nothing to sell. It would be logical to me that someone on this board who is using Windows Moble, is going to come up with the unusual idea of using Microsoft Outlook to back up their phone.
