It does not matter, it resets the internal memory of the phone. It does not effect the sim card. 6  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

A hard reset is the only way.

1. Pull out the stylus.
2. With the device turned on, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons "aka the center button" , then press the RESET button with the stylus tip.
3. Release the RESET button, but continue pressing the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons until you see this message on the screen:

This operation will delete all your personal data and reset all settings to manufacturer default. Press Volume Up to reset to manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel.

4. Release the VOLUME DOWN and ENTER buttons, then press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

5. After restore completed press VOLUME UP again to restart the device. 2  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

i, purchased new cell htc ce1177 touch .

but i have created my password $ switch offf

then some words of password r lost......... i have not remember actually

i typed wrong pattern many times n my internet is switched off....i then tried to unlock it by my email n password but failed....someone please help me...my phone is htc explorer n my email id is lakshaya02@gmail.com Do you find this valuable?
